01/20/2005: "paper"
I need to call and cancel the newspaper. I hate how if you order the newspaper for a month (to get the holiday ads, or whatever) they just keep delivering it after that. Then a couple of weeks later, they send you a bill for your renewal costs. "What!? I didn't renew", you cry. The cold, heartless newspaper doesn't care. The ole newspaper people must be scared though, because by the time you read something in the paper its already been on the internet, for free, for like 21.5 hours. I wonder how many trees it would save if there were no newspapers? Probably at least six, which isn't a bad number. Do you remember the Queen Latifah song, Paper, which used the beat from Heard it through the Grapevine? That was a ballsy maneuver. If you're going to use such a recognizable beat, the resulting track better be at least decent. What there really needs to be is more songs using old tv show themes, like when Camron used the Night Court theme. When is it going to be time for the Jetsons Remix or the Sesame Street Jam? (that almost sounds familiar though...did someone already do that?)

You've probably already heard of them, but my friend Andy has introduced me to a delectable little band called n.Lennon. Think you might enjoy.

How about nude of the day to accompany the blog of the day?
Then I won't have to subscribe to the paper to masturbate to the underwear ads anymore, that would save trees.
