01/05/2005: "it was a good day"

Listening to Ice Cube on the way home, I couldn't help but feel that today was a good day. Even though it really wasn't. Nothing exceptional happened, all things considered a pretty blah day. I think listening to that song made me finally decide what my new years resolution should be. Just simply to "Be Satisfied". Today nobody I know got killed in South Central LA. That should be enough to say it was a good day, right? (Although Ice Cube also had his name on the goodyear blimp extolling his ability to bag chicks...I certainly didn't have that happen...today) Although at what point does the philosophy to be content turn into settling? Am I settling for my current situation, or just appreciating it more? I'm not sure.

Anyway, so a couple other things. At the bottom of the page are my new Google Ads. Go ahead, click on them, pay for my website. Actually, I'm fully expecting that at the end of the year I'll receive a check for 43 cents, but hey, thats 43 cents I didn't have before, so I'll be satisfied with that. Last thing, when was the last time you got your walk on? Watch out for Raju, on the dance floor he's a bad man. Thanks for the (short!) clip Curtis.

So do you sit at work all day clicking on the links? If you try hard enough you might be able to buy yourself a whole soda by the end of the year!
