12/20/2004: "suck it easy"

The other day I was looking through one of my old high school yearbooks, reading what people had written. Most were of the "keep in touch", "lets always be friends", "its your baby", etc. variety. However, one entry was of particular elegance, grace and noteworthinesshood. Simply put, the line before the signature consisted of nothing but "Suck it easy this summer". That day and every day forward I have tried to embody the spirt of sucking it easy. I do this not because that is what the author wanted me to do, but because I'd hate to be on my deathbed, reflecting on my life and realizing that not once did I ever suck it easy. I put this out to you. Take the time to think about the last time you sucked it easy. If that time was long ago, then I want you to drop what you're doing this instant, take a deep breath, step away from the computer and take a moment to suck it easy. You'll thank me.
